ETH lost the $1,640 reclaim area intraday and now needs to climb back onto the shelf before bulls can say anything useful.

This is the continuity change today: yesterday’s $1,638 reclaim shelf didn’t hold. ETH traded through it, then faded back below, which turns a decent bounce story into a much shakier plate.

This morning’s setup is pretty simple: oil is hot, crypto is soft, and repair still isn’t here. BTC can still brag about holding above $60K, but that only tells you the floor hasn’t cracked yet — not that buyers are back in charge.

ETH makes it harder to spin a bullish story because $1,640 slipped from reclaim to rejection. Until the market wins those levels back, this still looks like reheated relief instead of a fresh breakout.
