BTC Tapped $65K, Then Slipped Back

BTC tasted $65K and sent it back to the kitchen.

That is the whole mood this morning. Repair is still alive, but the market still has not paid the bill on a real breakout, and Brent near $88 is keeping everybody just nervous enough to overthink the menu.

TODAY'S MENU

BTC: $64,235 (-0.72%) — Touched $65K, then backed away from the plate.

ETH: $1,864 (-0.22%) — Still holding $1,846 and looking tidier than BTC.

Fear & Greed: 29 (Fear) ← 29 — Nobody in this room is ordering with confidence.

Macro Watch: Brent near $88/bbl — Oil still has veto power over risk appetite.

Flow Signal: MEXC 750M USDT fund — Nice confidence garnish, not today’s main course.

TODAY'S JOB

Don’t confuse a tag of resistance with a reclaim of resistance.

LEVELS AT A GLANCE

BTC 4H — $64K Hold, Oil Still Hogging the Kitchen

BTC  Daily Tape: -0.72% (O $64,724 | H $65,091 | L $63,776 | C $64,260)

     Support: $64,000 | Resistance: $65,000 | Bias: Neutral-Bullish

ETH 4H — $1,846 Back, But the Repair Isn’t Cooked Yet

ETH  Daily Tape: -0.22% (O $1,869 | H $1,891 | L $1,843 | C $1,865)

     Support: $1,846 | Resistance: $1,946 | Bias: Bullish

CHEF'S CHOICE

BTC Finally Tapped $65K — Oil Still Owns the Room

BTC finally poked above $65K, hit $65,091, and then slid back to roughly $64,235. That keeps the repair story alive, but it does not count as confirmation. A wise trader once said a level is not yours just because you touched it.

ETH still looks cleaner because $1,846 is holding while BTC is still arguing with its receipt. Add Brent near $88 to the mix, and the macro kitchen still feels hot enough to cap every clean crypto flex.

COOKING LESSON

A tag is not the same thing as a reclaim.

Newer traders get trapped by the first poke above resistance because it feels like the move already happened. Today is the perfect example. BTC hit $65,091, which sounds bullish until you notice the active tape fell back near $64,235. That means resistance got tested, not converted.

The skill here is simple: wait for the market to prove it can live above the level, not just visit it. If price taps resistance and immediately slips back under it, treat that like a server showing you the dessert tray and then taking it away. Nice to see, not yours yet. Reclaim first. Celebrate second.

QUICK BITE

REGULATORY — Stablecoin rules still in limbo | U.S. agencies missed the GENIUS Act deadline, which keeps policy fog hanging around the table even if oil and BTC levels are still the real story.

THE TAKE

BTC is still on the repair menu, but it has not earned the fancy plating yet. ETH looks cleaner, oil still has attitude, and the only thing worse than chasing a fake breakout is pretending you meant to. NFA as always—and as always—hope you guys enjoy!
