BTC Hit a Wall, Oil Kept Control

Crypto got back on the grill, then oil walked into the kitchen.
Bitcoin’s bounce is still alive, but this is not a clean risk-on meal. BTC is sitting at $63,081, still above $61,300 but below key support at $63,360. Add Brent near $78.10, DXY at 100.829, and CPI tomorrow morning, and the whole setup feels like the waiter is hovering with the check.
TODAY'S MENU
BTC: $63,081 (-1.30%) — Still above the floor, still below the part that would actually impress us.
ETH: $1,787 (-0.64%) — Lost $1,800 again, but the $1,768 shelf is still doing its job.
Fear & Greed — 28 (Fear) — The room still smells like caution, not conviction.
Macro Watch — Brent $78.10 — Oil is acting like the loudest person at brunch.
Flow Signal — DXY 100.829 — The dollar is still firm enough to make upside feel expensive.

LEVELS AT A GLANCE
BTC Daily Tape: -1.30% (O $63,910 | H $64,394 | L $62,500 | C $63,081,)
Support: $61,300 | Resistance: $65,000 | Bias: Neutral

ETH Daily Tape: -0.64% (O $1,798 | H $1,845 | L $1,774 | C $1,787,)
Support: $1,768 | Resistance: $1,846 | Bias: Neutral

CHEF'S CHOICE
The rebound is real, but macro still owns the kitchen
BTC is still trying to base, and that matters. But sitting above $61,300 isn’t the same as reclaiming $64K-$65K, which is where this bounce starts looking like a real meal instead of reheated leftovers.
ETH tells the same story in smaller portions: still above $1,768, still below $1,800 and $1,846. Brent near $78.10 and CPI tomorrow are the swing factors, so this setup is more “watch the stove” than “ape the appetizer.”
COOKING LESSON
A bounce only matters if price can hold the reclaim.
One of the easiest traps for newer traders is treating the first pop off support like proof the move is real. It isn’t. Support tells you where the floor is. A reclaim tells you whether buyers can actually keep the kitchen open above a lost level. Today’s tape is a clean example: BTC is still above $61,300, which keeps the bounce alive, but it’s still below $63,360 and $64K, so the market hasn’t accepted higher prices yet. Same thing with ETH under $1,800. The skill here is simple: don’t judge the move by the first bounce — judge it by whether price can get back above the broken shelf and stay there.
QUICK BITE
ALT SIGNAL — Some degens are still shopping | DEXE, KITE, and JTO all posted double-digit gains, which says this isn’t full panic — just a weird menu.
THE TAKE
This market isn’t dead. It’s just not done proving itself. BTC above $61,300 keeps the plate from hitting the floor, but oil and macro still control the portion size.
