BTC Bought Time. It Still Hasn’t Bought Trust

The plate stayed on the table, but the restaurant still hasn’t won the room back.
Price held the reclaimed $60K area, the panic backed off, and this morning’s tape feels a lot more stable than the mess we were dealing with yesterday. That’s the good news. The bad news is that stability isn’t the same thing as authority, and until bulls can do more than survive, trust is still being served in very small portions.
TODAY'S MENU
BTC: $60,277 (+3.07%) | BTC is holding the reclaimed $60K band, but still hasn't forced the next test overhead.
ETH: $1,618 (+3.11%) | ETH bounced, tagged $1,640, and still couldn't keep the plate there.
Fear & Greed: 19 (Extreme Fear) ← 11 — Sentiment improved, but everyone's still eating with one eye on the exit.
Macro Watch — DXY 100.975 — Better than 101-handle pressure, not yet a clean tailwind.
Flow Signal — ETF overhang live — Price stabilized, but the flow backdrop still looks like a leaky kitchen sink.
TODAY'S JOB
Treat this like stabilization, not salvation. The market held the floor, but the ceiling still decides if this move is real.

CHEF'S CHOICE
$60K Survived. Now the Market Needs a New Excuse
BTC did the first thing bulls needed: it held the reclaimed $60K floor overnight instead of immediately coughing it back up. That's enough to keep the bear-trap idea on the menu, and it's also why this morning feels a lot less disastrous than yesterday morning did.
But the move still has something to prove. $61,300 remains the real gate overhead, and ETH couldn't hold $1,640, which tells you this isn't a clean broad-market repair yet. The floor survived. The kitchen still hasn't reopened.
COOKING LESSON
A saved support level is a setup, not a victory lap.
One of the easiest ways to get smoked in a choppy market is treating a hold like a breakout. Those are different meals. A hold means price defended an important level — like BTC staying above $60K this morning. A breakout means price actually pushes through the next ceiling and starts accepting above it. That has not happened yet with $61,300.
This matters because traders love to front-run the second part just because the first part looked clean. That's how you end up buying the first green candle after panic, then watching it turn back into leftovers. First ask: did the market save the floor? Then ask: did it actually clear the next door?
QUICK BITE
MACRO — Dollar cooled, not collapsed | DXY backing off to 100.975 helped BTC breathe, but it still isn't the kind of macro relief that lets bulls get lazy.
THE TAKE
BTC looks less cooked than it did yesterday, and that's worth something. But until $61,300 gives way, this still feels like the market cleaning up the kitchen — not serving a fresh bull meal.
